Room 9 Newsletter
We had a great day on Friday with
our Fancy Feet and delicious ice creams!
Our assembly item went well. The
children were proud of their work and the ones who read their stories out loud
spoke clearly and with enough volume to be heard throughout the hall. Well done, everyone!
Easter is approaching and we will
have a 4 day week this week! Remember
that Tuesday March 29th is also a school holiday. Have a great break!
We are off to the Foodbank on
Monday morning this week to donate our cans – many thanks to all of you who
sent these along. Our class collected
57!!
No assembly this week as we are not
here on Good Friday.
We still have a problem with
unnamed lost property in our room – I found a brand new sweatshirt on Friday
with no name.
Next Hutt Library visit will be on
Wednesday April 6th.
Have a fantastic break over Easter.
Many thanks for your support,
Heather Burrell

What a great trip to Jubilee
Park! Many thanks to the parents and
grandparents who helped with this – we couldn’t do trips like this without
you. The fairy houses looked great too.
We have the trip to the Shape
Shifter exhibition on Wednesday March 2nd ( this week ) and if you
would like to come, please let me know.
Also, our visit to the Hutt Library will be on March 10th –
Thursday next week.
We have the parent/teacher
interviews this week and I look forward to meeting you all.
Our class blog is up and running on
our school website so do have a look!
Spelling words are coming home
every week now. What an amazing effort
the children and yourselves have made!
Lots of correctly spelt words on Friday!
Don’t forget to check that hats, sweatshirts
and cardigans are named.
Many thanks to those who have
filled out and returned the questionnaire on important places in our
community. There is still time to return
these and if you need another form, just let me know.
Many thanks for your support,
Heather Burrell
